Do's and Don'ts to help you start making money online in Affiliate Marketing.

Hello and welcome to yet another exciting edition of Supa Bucks. Today i would like to share with you some useful tips as you embark on your journey of making money online through Affiliate Marketing.

 

Avoid scams

 First and foremost you should by all means possible avoid scams on the internet.....if an offer sounds to good to be true stay away from it...for example you come across an offer promising you $30 000 every month by just spending a few minutes  on your computer...stay away from offers like these, they are scams.

 Money doesn't come easy, even on the internet, you have to work for it. There are a lot of scam artists online who have robbed countless innocent people of their hard earned money. Therefore before joining a particular Affiliate Program do a thorough research first, do not rush into anything and make sure the company you want to do business with is registered. Also look for valid testimonials from members working for that program....
I prefer you start with an affiliate program that is free to join and when you have a feel of how the affiliate system works you can then upgrade to the paid ones. 

 

Work smart not hard

People always say in order to succeed in life you have to work hard...in some cases that may be true but i beg to differ...I say work smart, i believe planning your tasks carefully and having clearly defined goals and objectives can help you realize success in whatever you do in life.
Identify those time wasters like staying on social media for hours...instead focus all of your energy on things that will help grow your Affiliate Business, thus making money online.

 

The idea is to set SMART -(Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time bound) goals and come up with a way to break them into smaller tasks which will be easy to execute. 

Putting in very long hours won't get you anywhere except make you tired and end up quitting. Give yourself time to rest thus refreshing your mind. 

To become a successful affiliate, plan your every move....create goals and objectives and set in motion a plan to execute them..
Work SMART and not hard. 

Don't quit your job

Chances are you already have a full time job, my advice is that you should treat your affiliate business as a means of  adding a second income. Once you start making more money as an affiliate than your on your  regular job, you can then decide to quit and become your own boss. You can then dedicate your time to affiliate marketing and scaling your business to higher levels.
When you start making profits don't make the mistake of thinking that it's time to relax and eat the fruits of your labor, on the contrary, you have to invest back into the business and try by all means to expand it....never let your business become stagnant.

Don't be afraid of making mistakes 

We are only human and once in a while we make mistakes. It usually takes more than a few tries to find an affiliate program that is compatible with you. So don't feel depressed or demotivated when you fail, take it as a learning curve, we all make mistakes...they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...and always remember that  experience is the best teacher.
Also don't be shy to seek professional help.....there are thousands of successful affiliate marketers who once upon a time were in a similar position as you are in right now.

Give it time and be patient

This is by far one of the most important quality you are supposed to nurture within yourself. Affiliate marketing requires patience. This is not a get-rich -quick scheme...
Remember you are creating a sustainable long-term business that will grow for many more years to come. This requires that you stay focused, committed and passionate. The only way to achieve all this is to remain patient.
Don't be a quitter after any signs of problems...quitters never make it anywhere in life....stay focused, seek help from fellow affiliate marketers who have been in business for a longer time.... and remember it's only a matter of time before you reap the rewards...that is making money online while working from the comfort of your home, and ultimately becoming your own boss.
